Belitz writes that the NCF is launching a new initiative in urging local funds to connect with young people who have gone off to college by involving the students in hometown summer internships.
The NCF board of directors seeks to partner with affiliated funds to give college students paid internships to serve their hometown communities during summer break.
The local Fund Advisory Committee members will identify and recruit local college students who might be interested in a hometown internship.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) released the Nigerian Sustainable Banking Principles, an agreement signed by 34 banks, including the original eight of the nation’s leading banks, that covered nine key areas: environmental and social risk management, environmental and social footprint, human rights, women’s economic empowerment, financial inclusion, environmental and social governance, capacity building, collaborative partnerships and reporting.
